Cicadas 2021
Tell Me A Story: Monthly Blog (May 2021)
If you are not aware, the Cicadas are back after 17 years. If you live in these eastern US states , Virginia (our home state), Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Georgia, New York, Maryland, North Carolina, Delaware, and Washington, D.C., then most likely you have seen a Brood X cicada by now or heard their loud sounds.
The 2021 involves billions of the loud, winged insects emerging from the ground in a quantity not seen in past 17 years. Please see some of them captures around home in Fairfax County. All photos were taken with Nikon Z 6ii with Nikon 105mm Macro lens with FTZ adaptor.
This is a circle blog. Please see what Sharleen has to offer this month. Don’t forget to leave a little love on their pages.
